Demolition done

Work on the remodel started Thursday, 7/8/10. It ended up being a record hot day - got up to 95. OUCH. With NO a/c. That was also the day the a/c folks came by to give us a quote on what it would cost to get a/c. Perfect timing for them, huh.... Suffice to say, we're getting a/c installed with this remodel. :)
So the demo guys were here all day - and filled up an entire dumpster with the knotty pine planks from the two rooms, the bathroom fixtures, and the old carpet.
A good thing: we have awesome fir floors underneath the carpet! They just need some patching and refinishing, and they'll look awesome.
A bad thing: apparently the framing of the rooms was WAY sub-par. In the one room (the small one - the previously all green room) only had 1 (yes ONE) support for the ceiling. WTF?! See the pics. The other room was better supported, but the framer will still have to spend an extra day (maybe two) getting it all done.
